FAQ'S
Can I bring my own dog?
At this time, we do not allow clients to bring their own dogs on waterfowl hunts. As all hunters know, a poorly trained dog can ruin a hunt and pose a safety risk to itself and other hunters. Guides will provide retrievers. Upland hunting dogs may be brought if the situation permits. Please let us know your intentions when booking your trip.
What is the group minimum/maximum?
The group minimum for a private waterfowl hunt is 6 hunters, with a maximum of 12. Multiple groups of 5 or less hunters may be combined if necessary. Group minimum for upland hunts is 4, with a maximum of 8.

What's the day of the hunt like?
Guides will make contact the evening before to discuss plans for the morning ahead. Departure time the next morning will be determined by drive time required to reach your destination. The morning of, guides will meet you at the lodge and direct you to the location of the hunt. In most cases, clients will follow the guides in their own vehicle. Once you arrive, the guides will begin setup while you gather your gear & shuttle to the hunt site via UTV. You will then find your seat in the blind and receive a safety/hunt briefing prior to shooting time. Shooting time is one-half hour before legal sunrise. Hunting will continue until a legal limit has been reached, it has been decided no more opportunity will be had, or at the client's request. The hunt can also be immediately ceased if a guide deems the hunt unsafe due to neglect of firearm safety. After the hunt, the guides will disassemble the setup, pack up equipment, and shuttle you back to your vehicle. At this time, you are free to return to the lodge or do as you please for the rest of the day.
Where will we be hunting?
We hunt across 7 counties in the Delta. Our guides scout daily to find the best location for the next day's hunt. Goose hunts are in harvested crop fields, standing winter wheat, or flooded ag fields. Duck hunts are in flooded ag fields, moist soil impoundments, or timber. Many times, you will have the opportunity to harvest both ducks & geese on the same hunt.
